26/01/2009. UFO Sighting, Near Weston-Super-Mare, England

On Wednesday the 21st January 2009 I was travelling northbound on the M5. At about 6.55pm, just before the junction to Weston-Super-Mare, I noticed a bright light in my peripheral vision which appeared above a field across the southbound carriage. At first I dismissed it as being part of a plane or helicopter and it wasn't until I got closer that I realised there was something different about it. It was travelling slightly lower than you would expect a helicopter to fly and two bright lights caught my attention. One was orange and the second, which appeared to be behind the object, was green.

As I got nearer I noticed that there were in fact three orange lights with one red light in the centre. From my perspective it looked like the red light was slightly larger than the rest but as the object was still a reasonable distance from me it was difficult to tell if that was the case.

I was transfixed on the lights and I was very lucky not to lose control of my car! The object was heading directly towards the motorway and as I got closer I could see the outline of a triangle. It then become clear that the object was either black or a very dark grey and that the three orange lights were located at each of the points. Although I couldn't take my eyes off of what I was seeing I could not pinpoint where the green light actually was. It appeared to be trailing underneath or behind but it didn't seem to be attached.

The thing that struck me as being very peculiar was that the triangle appeared to be almost vertical and not flat as you would expect when you see the underneath of a helicopter for instance.

Trying to take everything on board I realised that the object was flying over the M5 itself and, whilst feeling scared but excited, I thought that this would be my chance to see it close up. Unfortunately we reached the same spot at the same time so I was unable to get a close up view as my car roof prevented me from seeing it.

Whilst the motorway wasn't exceptionally busy there were other cars around and the lights were so bright that I am certain someone else must have seen it too. A passenger sitting next to the driver and travelling southbound would have had an ideal view.

I only wish that someone else had been in the car to witness everything with me.

This picture was taken by a passenger in a car travelling South on the M5 between Bristol and Taunton, Somerset, England. The 'mini sun' was spotted to the driver's right-hand side and was described as being 'as bright as the Sun'. The digital camera was set to 'sun set' to avoid damage to the camera. No effects or enhancements have been made to the picture.

This particular image shows a 'snow storm' of ORBS.

Reported Sighting, Nr Taunton, Somerset . Date 12/12/2007

 

Sightings of a strange glow in the sky, at about 10pm on Monday 12/12/2007, were reported by Richard Fowle and his son, Edward, of Cheddon Road, Taunton and several other people in the area of Kingston St. Mary. 
Richard and Edward, armed with a digital camera, drove to a vantage point on the Quantock Hills to try to capture an image of this strange light. After several attempts, Richard's best result was secured with his camera set to an exposure time of 20s.  

The Phenomenon was visible in the same position for approximately 1 hour before disappearing.

What is this? Looks very much like a Tower or Beacon. This is an enlargement of one the first Phoenix pictures released by NASA of the Mars Polar surface.

NASA Report: This image, one of the first captured by NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander, shows the vast plains of the northern polar region of Mars. The flat landscape is strewn with tiny pebbles and shows polygonal cracking, a pattern seen widely in Martian high latitudes and also observed in permafrost terrains on Earth. The polygonal cracking is believed to have resulted from seasonal freezing and thawing of surface ice.

A later photograph (released 27/05), taken in the OPPOSITE direction to the one above, shows another white object which HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED as the lander's backshell.

It has been reported that Scientists will eventually turn the Phoenix camera back to check out the unidentified 'strange linear feature'.

It reallyis amazing what you can do with: 1) A mosaic (joining images together). The join here runs right through the area of the mystery object.  2) Have a lower resolution than the original image. Helps to blur the detail. 3) False colour. Helps you to paint out unwanted detail.

THE RESULT: The offending object has 'disappeared'.

THE OBJECT REMAINS UNIDENTIFIED.
